The Arma museum opens its doors for the Ubud Jazz Festival on 9th and 10th August 2013. Located only 15 minutes away from Kupu Kupu Barong Villas & Tree Spa Ubud, event will be held from 3 p.m. until late in the night.
A hundred of renowned internationals and Indonesians jazz music players are invited to perform in the heart of Bali. Among them Peter Beets (Netherlands), Uwe Plath, Dian Pratiwi (Germany), Diego Maroto and Michael Verapeen Quintet (Malayasia), Yokohama Association of Artists (Japan), Balawan, Dwiki Dharmawan, Simak Dialog, The Jongens, Yuri Mahatma, Koko Harsoe, Astrid Sulaiman, the Underground Jazz Movement and Ito Kurdhi.
This year, the Ubud Jazz Festival adds a green touch to the festivities. LED lightings and homemade torches will be used to light the entire shows. Musicians will be provided with bicycles to go from one stage to another and recycle bins as well as a no plastic bags policy will be hallmarks. Tree-planting sessions will also be organized in the afternoon.
Food and beverages will be available throughout the festival.
